It’s just…inconceivable to me that he was careless enough to say all of those things in front of her. No one in their right mind would do such a thing in the presence of their wife much less in front of a crowd of presumably highly esteemed, noble people. Though he seems to have forgotten she’s even there to begin with. Or exists altogether. The fact that she’s the only one sitting highly disturbs me. How does he not notice? How does nobody notice? She looks like a complete outsider. As though she doesn’t even belong there when she’s the damn Queen of the Kingdom for Christ’s sake. I think I just reiterated what you already said but ugh I need to vent about this. As for her being alone wherever she is (whether in Storybrooke or Fairtayle World) you are one hundred percent right. And it tears me apart because she does not deserve it. At this point in time she was a good, seemingly fragile, person. So explain to me how any of this is fair to her. Because it’s not.

I’m still holding out hope that maybe someone does notice from the crowd. I’m hoping that the scene continues from what we’ve seen and that maybe someone, anyone, takes notice of her. Judging from the sneak peek, no one pays her the least bit of attention and that’s part of what’s killing me the most. I understand the guy misses his dead wife, but he picked a highly inappropriate place to bring it up, and he is just full-out apathetic in regards to his actual, still-feeling, present wife.

I believe that if he truly loved her, he wouldn’t have said what he did. The fact that she’s seated so far away, and basically secluded from everyone else, while he dotes on about his former lover (and not showing the slightest bit of acknowledgment to the Queen) shows that he doesn’t care for her at all. Random, but this only strengthens my love for the friendship Regina and Katherine have. I don’t really care for Katherine much, but seeing Regina’s smile when Katherine proclaimed that she was her friend, was heart-wrenching in the best way. It was one of the rare moments that Regina looked emotionally raw and it wasn’t because of something devastating. It makes me wonder if the Queen had any friends in the Fairy Tale world, besides the “frenemy” thing she had going on with Maleficent.

Talk about needing to vent, whew.

Honestly, King Leopold is an insensitive, inconsiderate, dickwad. Who in their right mind would be so callous as to say that in front of their wife? Especially a wife who is, oh so very clearly, miserable. Look at her smile in that first gif. She looks just as unhappy there as she does in the others where she’s frowning. fucking lana you would manage to pull that off I personally believe what he said is appalling. And why is she isolated from the rest of the people? My God, isn’t anyone aware of her apparent sadness? What an unhealthy marriage. It’s no wonder she lost it who knows what the hell else this bastard did to hurt her. She’s completely broken. Poor thing, people should pity her not loath her.

^Everything you just said. For some reason I pictured him being a kind man before I saw the sneak peek, but from just the few lines he has said, I’ve come to the conclusion that he is an inconsiderate asshole. I mean, really, who would say all of those things while his wife, HIS QUEEN, is right there, as well as an entire crowd of people. Not to mention the fact that she’s sitting by herself, as if she’s not important enough to be physically included as well as emotionally.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt as sympathetic towards a “villain” as I have the Evil Queen. No matter what world we see her in, she is always lonely.
